There are a lot of reasons why people, especially women, wear makeup on their everyday lives. They use it to hide the ‘flaws’ on their faces (wrinkles, acne, eczema, etc.) that cause them insecurities, and to enhance their best features.

Some apply it to look younger, or older, of course depending on their age. Many consider it art which they use as a medium to express themselves.

Sometimes they use it if they want to look attractive and want to impress a certain guy they like, but more often, they just do it for themselves. Some wear makeup to make themselves feel more beautiful, boost their self-esteem, or help with anxiety. Some do it for fun.

While some say the benefits of not wearing makeup are too great to ignore, makeup for many, is a source of confidence.
